[ Where we work ]
New York City event photographer for conferences and trade shows
Trade shows at the Javits Center, conferences in Midtown ballrooms, launches in Hudson Yards and downtown venues.

[ Companies whose events we've photographed ]
New York events run on tight schedules and tighter buildings: security desks, loading docks, union show floors and venues booked back to back. Your programs are usually spread across Midtown, downtown and Brooklyn in the same week, with guests flying in from everywhere. The coverage plan is built around all of that.

[ Hudson Yards ]Trade shows at the Javits Center
The Javits Center's campus spans six city blocks along the Hudson River in Hudson Yards. Exhibitors need two kinds of photos: the booth on its own before the doors open, and the booth at work once the floor is busy. Hiring your own photographer for a Javits show usually means registering them with show management as your contractor, with a certificate of insurance, before the show opens; we handle that with you. See trade-show and exhibitor photography.

Conferences by day, receptions by night
Keynotes and breakouts in Midtown ballrooms during the day, then dinners, rooftop receptions and harbor cruises once the city lights up. Bright ballrooms, dark rooftops and night skylines within a few hours, and the coverage plan covers all three. See conference photography and corporate event photography.

[ Planning ]New York tips from behind the camera
- Get the crew on the list early. Most Manhattan venues and office buildings want a certificate of insurance naming them, plus a vendor list for the security desk, days before the event. Javits shows usually want outside photographers registered as your contractor. Miss it and your photographer spends the opening keynote in the lobby.
- Check the city-wide weeks before you pick dates. UN General Assembly week in late September, Fashion Week in February and September, NRF's Big Show at Javits in January, Advertising Week in October and the marathon in early November fill hotels, venues and streets at the same time. Avoid them or book everything early.
- Take your guests out, and bring the camera. A Broadway show, a harbor cruise past the Statue of Liberty, a rooftop reception with the skyline behind, a food walk through Chelsea Market: the outings are often the best moments of the trip, and the ones nobody photographs. Add them to the coverage.
- Give guests something to do between sessions. A headshot lounge, where guests get a free professional photo for LinkedIn, is often the busiest corner of a conference. Set it up near the coffee, and sponsor it if you like.
- Days and nights across town. Sessions in Midtown, dinner in Chelsea, an after-party in Brooklyn: two photographers cover both at once, or one schedule is planned around the subway ride.
